April 2025 Concerts and Events at SCF are Open to the Public

The community is invited to attend State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota’s (SCF) spring 2025 music program performances April 10-28 at SCF Bradenton, 5840 26th St. W. Tickets are $15 for general admission and $5 for SCF students and staff unless otherwise noted. - “Creative Beginnings” – 7 p.m. Thursday, April 10, SCF Recital Hall, Building 11A.
Experience the musical creativity of SCF student composers as they exhibit a beautiful mix of original live and music-for-film pieces.
- “A Trip to Fantasyland” – 7:30 p.m. Monday, April 14, SCF Neel Performing Arts Center, Building 11 East.
Travel on a musical adventure with the Music Theatre Ensemble during their exciting production of fantasy-themed Broadway show scenes, songs and dances. Ensemble members will perform selections from Little Shop of Horrors, Cinderella, Ride the Cyclone and other shows. Admission is free.
- “Beethoven’s Ninth!” – 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 17, SCF Neel Performing Arts Center, Building 11 East.
Join the SCF Bradenton Symphony Orchestra for a culminating performance in their series of Beethoven’s symphonies: the renowned Ninth Symphony. SCF choirs will perform with the orchestra.
- “Piano Studio Recital” – 7 p.m. Monday, April 21, SCF Recital Hall, Building 11A.
Enjoy piano students from beginner to advanced levels playing the pieces they have prepared during the semester. Students are traditional credited students and lifelong learners. Donations of two canned goods are requested instead of tickets.
- “Celebrate Music” – 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 24, SCF Neel Performing Arts Center, Building 11 East.
Celebrate SCF student music-making and community support with SCF music ensembles as they present a wonderful variety of symphonic, guitar, choral and jazz music.
- “Graduation Recital” – 7:30 p.m. Monday, April 28, SCF Recital Hall, Building 11A.
Join the final performance of graduating SCF music students as they perform their top pieces. Admission is free.
