Floridays Woodfire Grill & Bar Relaunches with New Management Team and Reimagined Menu Offerings
ANNA MARIA ISLAND, FL (December 17, 2024) — Floridays Woodfire Grill & Bar, a beloved island destination known for its stunning views, laid-back atmosphere and coastal cuisine, is excited to announce its relaunch under the guidance of a new management team with a reimagined menu of American grill and seafood selections, and new, weekly programming and specials. The restaurant, which is located adjacent to Compass Hotel Anna Maria Sound, will be led by Executive Chef Ken Gilcrest, General Manager Brian Keller and Food and Beverage Director Kevin Hagerty under the management of Concord Hospitality, and will offer a memorable dining experience in a laid-back, welcoming atmosphere reminiscent of an old school Florida Fish House.
Chef Gilcrest, who brings over 44 years of hospitality experience to the team, has crafted a variety of new culinary offerings that pay homage to the island’s vibrant flavors while incorporating scratch-made dishes that appeal to a variety of palettes. Menu highlights include casual favorites with an elevated twist like the Floridays Triple Bacon Burger served with bacon jam, grilled bacon and candied bacon, the Nawlins Seafood Burrito with pink shrimp and scallops in a creamy cajun sauce, and a Loaded Lobster Quesadilla.
Additional favorites from both sea and land include a shareable Seacuterie Board featuring crab dip, smoked salmon and jumbo Floridays pink shrimp cocktail served with all the accouterments, Shrimp Scampi Provencal, and a 12 oz Grilled Center Cut Black Angus NY Strip Steak butchered in house and served with a choice of hotel butter, chimichurri or port wine rosemary demi-glace. A new cocktail menu complements the culinary offerings with a selection of the restaurant’s famous homemade margaritas, tiki-inspired concoctions, and frosty beachside favorites.

The newly-reimagined Floridays will also feature nightly specials as well as a packed calendar of entertainment, events, and programming. Guests can expect live music throughout the week, social gatherings and celebrations during major sporting events, special offers and activations on holidays and observations, community happenings, and weekly promotions such as Fresh Catch Fridays, to name just a few.
