Manatee County Falls Prevention Coalition Hosts Annual Falls Prevention Expo with Special Guest Speaker Louise Gallagher
Bradenton, FL – The Manatee County Falls Prevention Coalition invites the community to its highly anticipated annual Falls Prevention Expo on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at Manatee Technical College (6305 St. Rd 70 E., Bradenton, FL 34203). This free, engaging event is designed to educate and empower seniors, their families, and caregivers with vital resources and strategies to prevent falls.
The Expo kicks off at 3:30 PM, offering interactive wellness stations, expert-led workshops, and access to local organizations specializing in senior health and safety. This year’s highlight is a featured talk by Louise Gallagher, M.S., L.M.F.T., a Certified Dementia Practitioner, Life Coach, and Educator, who will discuss the connection between dementia and fall risks. Her insights will provide valuable guidance on how to reduce hazards and enhance safety for seniors living with cognitive challenges.

Following the Expo, attendees are invited to stay for a lively BINGO game starting at 5:30 PM. With exciting prizes to be won, it’s the perfect way to end a day filled with learning and fun!
