Manatee Memorial Hospital Celebrates Hospital Week with Excitement, Appreciation, and Community Spirit

Bradenton, FL – (May 16, 2025) – Manatee Memorial Hospital proudly celebrated Hospital Week with a week full of energy, gratitude, and fun-filled activities, honoring the hard work and dedication of its more than 2,000 incredible colleagues. This annual celebration was a vibrant reminder of the heart and soul behind our hospital—our people.

From the moment the week kicked off, team members were treated to a wide range of activities and engagement opportunities designed to say “thank you” in meaningful (and memorable) ways.

Highlights included:

  • A special visit from Marty the Marauder, the beloved mascot of the Bradenton Marauders, who brought high-fives, laughter, and photo ops galore.
  • Sweet treats from Bite Me Cookie, energizing brews from Tom’s Travelin’ Coffee Truck, and refreshing options at the breakfast and yogurt bar.
  • Therapy dogs stopped by to deliver tail wags, smiles, and a healthy dose of stress relief.
  • A thoughtful portable charging station gift kept our team powered up and appreciated.
  • The interactive Wellness Station and Photo Booth offered both relaxation and fun, encouraging team members to recharge and capture memories.
  • And of course, the week wrapped up with a delicious and nutritious Healthy Appreciation Make Your Own Burrito Bowl Lunch, bringing everyone together to celebrate the mission we all serve.

“We are proud to recognize our entire team for their unwavering dedication to patient care and community health,” said Manatee Memorial CEO, Andy Guz. “Hospital Week gives us a chance to show our gratitude in a big way—and to have a little fun while doing it!”

This week of celebration reflects Manatee Memorial Hospital’s ongoing commitment to a positive, engaging workplace culture, where every team member feels valued and supported.

Happy Hospital Week to the heroes who keep us strong, connected, and compassionate—every single day.
