Manatee Memorial Hospital to Officially Open the Manatee ER at Palma Sola on Tuesday, October 29
Bradenton, FL – (October 28, 2024) – Following an initial groundbreaking in March 2023 and a ribbon-cutting ceremony in early October, Manatee Memorial Hospital (MMH) is pleased to announce the official opening of Manatee ER at Palma Sola on Tuesday, October 29, at 9:00 a.m. After completing a comprehensive life safety survey on October 25, the Agency for Healthcare Administration (AHCA) has approved the new facility to welcome patients.
Residents of western Bradenton and its barrier islands, recently impacted by two major hurricanes, now have convenient access to emergency healthcare close to home. Like the Manatee ER at Bayshore Gardens, the Manatee ER at Palma Sola offers prompt, efficient care with short wait times and 24/7 access to an ER physician, ensuring both local citizens and first responders’ access to timely emergency services.
Located at 633 75th Street West in Bradenton, the new Manatee ER at Palma Sola will be open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide care for all ages. The 10,884 square ft. facility includes six exam rooms, three rapid medical spaces and full-services laboratory, x-ray and ultrasound areas. The Manatee ER at Palma Sola marks Manatee Memorial’s second freestanding ER in Manatee County, after opening the Manatee ER at Bayshore Gardens in April of 2023, and its third overall with the ER at Sun City that opened in 2022.
