Palmetto Marriott Takes a Time Machine Back to the 80s for Week Two of the Sunset Series

Palmetto, FL – April 14, 2025 — The Palmetto Marriott turned the dial back to the golden age of rock as Scream Machine took over the resort’s brand-new Yard this past Friday for the second week of the April Sunset Series — and the result was nothing short of electric.

The free community event brought out locals and visitors alike for a night drenched in the high-energy sounds of 80s rock anthems. With the sun setting over the waterfront, neon lights glowing, and power chords filling the air, guests danced, sang along, and fully embraced the throwback vibes.

“This was exactly the kind of night we imagined when we launched the Sunset Series,” said Cayla Miraglia, Marketing Manager at the Palmetto Marriott. “The energy was unreal at the Palmetto Marriott for Scream Machine — it is amazing to see this resort bringing the community together for our free events!”

The event featured crowd-pleasing local food vendors including Joey D’s, serving up delicious bites, and Travelin’ Tom’s Coffee of Bradenton, keeping everyone energized and refreshed.

The Palmetto Marriott’s April Sunset Series continues this Friday at 7 PM with Southbound 75, bringing a country twist to the waterfront stage. As always, admission is free, and the vibes are guaranteed. Don’t forget to bring your own seat!
