ArtCenter Manatee Awarded $1,000 Grant from Manatee River Artists Guild to Support KidsArt Scholarships

Bradenton, FL – ArtCenter Manatee is pleased to announce that it has received a generous $1,000 grant from the Manatee River Artists Guild (MRAG) to support four scholarships for its KidsArt Program, making visual arts education more accessible to local children.

ArtCenter Manatee’s KidsArt Program offers a variety of engaging and educational opportunities for young artists, including KidsArt Summer Camps—a series of 10 week-long camps designed for children ages 6-10 and Emerging Artists, ages 11-15. Additional programs include Sprouting Artists (ages 4-6) and Talented Tuesdays (ages 6-10), providing year-round creative experiences.

“This generous grant from MRAG helps us ensure that children, regardless of financial circumstances, have the opportunity to explore their creativity and develop their artistic skills,” said Carla Nierman, Executive Director at ArtCenter Manatee. “We are grateful for their support in fostering the next generation of artists.”

The Manatee River Artists Guild is dedicated to sharing a passion for art within the community and supporting visual art education for school-age children. Through grants and advocacy, MRAG helps ensure that young artists have the resources and encouragement they need to develop their talents.
