Kate and Milo
Katy Cat (left) and Milo were a bonded pair that were adopted together at Manatee County Cat Town. Milo required leg surgery, which was funded by the Friends of Manatee County Animal Services. Now, they’re happy, and healthy, together in their new home.

Lil’Bear
Lil’ Bear, a 4 year-old mixed breed, came to MCAS 2 years ago as a stray. He is a big, goofy dog, who has sadly spent half of his life in a shelter. This boy loves to play, especially with toys. He is full of energy and entertainment when outside. He loves to roll in the grass and run in circles. He adores belly rubs too, of course. Lil’ Bear is learning to socialize with other dogs and will need slow introductions if he is to live with them. Volunteers take Lil’ Bear home for sleepovers, and they report he is a perfect houseguest. He’s so happy to be in a home. This sweet dog deserves a home of his own. Wouldn’t you like to have the love of Lil’ Bear in your life?
Lil’ Bear will do best in a household without children or cats. He comes neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. For information, email [email protected] or schedule your appointment at mymanatee.org/pets.
