Turning Points Receives Grant from Bishop-Parker Foundation to Advance Strategic Initiatives & Organizational Growth
Bradenton, FL– Turning Points is proud to announce that it has received a generous grant of $100,000 from the Bishop-Parker Foundation to support the development and execution of key strategic initiatives. Inspired by the philanthropic legacies of their founders, the Bishop-Parker Foundation supports nonprofit and public partners who collaborate to advance the Manatee County Community for current and future generations.
This funding will strengthen Turning Points’ capacity to plan and implement long-term strategies aimed at enhancing service delivery, optimizing organizational effectiveness, and furthering its mission to prevent and reduce homelessness in Manatee County.
With the support of this grant, Turning Points will focus on refining its strategic planning process, aligning resources with organizational priorities, and identifying innovative approaches to meet the evolving needs of the communities it serves. The investment will also foster a more data-driven, future-focused mindset, ensuring that the agency is well-positioned to respond to emerging challenges and seize new opportunities.
“This grant will provide us with the tools and expertise needed to elevate Turning Points to the next level,” said Kathleen Cramer, Executive Director of Turning Points. “By strengthening our strategic vision and aligning our efforts with best practices, we can achieve a greater impact and make a more significant difference in the lives of those we serve.”
The grant will support various initiatives, including the development of a comprehensive strategic plan, enhanced operational efficiencies, and capacity-building efforts. These measures will position Turning Points for sustainable growth in the coming years, ultimately helping families facing homelessness stay in their homes and assist those currently experiencing homelessness.
