Florida Apparel Company Expands ‘Fill The Van’ Campaign to Support Local Animal Rescue Organizations for Second Year
SeaMonkey Apparel, a Bradenton based coastal apparel company, operated by husband and wife, is once again stepping up for the animals of Manatee County with the return of its ‘Fill The Van’ campaign, benefiting Manatee County Animal Welfare and the Humane Society of Manatee County.
After collecting more than 900 pounds of food and supplies during last year’s drive, SeaMonkey Apparel is aiming even higher this year with a goal of 2,000 pounds. To reach this goal, the company is partnering with local businesses across Manatee and Sarasota counties, who will serve as official ‘Food and Supply Donation Stations’. Each location will feature a designated area where the community can contribute food, toys, and supplies which will support both organizations.
Alongside the donation drive, SeaMonkey Apparel is also launching new exclusive designs this October where 15% of proceeds from these new releases will go directly to the Friends of Manatee County Animal Welfare (a non-profit supporting Manatee County Animal Welfare) along with the Humane Society of Manatee County, with an additional 5% of all other design sales during the month also being donated.
To further amplify the effort, SeaMonkey Apparel is also collecting monetary donations and offering sponsorship opportunities for local businesses and individuals who want to do more. Importantly, 100% of the donations collected will go directly to Friends of Manatee County Animal Welfare and The Humane Society of Manatee County, ensuring every dollar has an immediate impact.
“The SeaMonkey Apparel brand has evolved into a platform for us to support our community. We are not here to create a trend, we are here to build a legacy,” said Alexandra Lowe-Mains, Co-Owner of SeaMonkey Apparel. “This campaign is more than just about clothing—it’s about rallying our neighbors, small businesses, and customers to make a meaningful difference together.”
By uniting local businesses, customers, and animal lovers, SeaMonkey Apparel hopes to create an even bigger impact this year—strengthening its role as a community-driven brand that pairs coastal style with a purpose.
Details on the participating donation station locations and how to contribute to the campaign will be available at www.seamonkeyapparel.com.
