“Live Well Manatee” Community Health & Wellness Event Set for Friday, March 27

Residents across greater Manatee County are invited to take charge of their health at Live Well Manatee, a free community health and wellness event taking place Friday, March 27 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Bradenton Area Convention Center. The event will bring together local physicians, health organizations, and community partners to provide education, screenings, and wellness resources for the public.

Live Well Manatee is proudly presented by Manatee Memorial Hospital and Manatee Physician Alliance, a part of Manatee Health, and is designed to help residents learn practical ways to improve their health and well-being through education, preventive care, and community resources.

During the event, attendees will have the opportunity to learn and ask questions directly from physicians through a series of live educational presentations on important health topics, including:

  • Gynecological oncology
  • Nutrition and weight loss
  • Cardiology and atrial fibrillation (AFib)
  • Non-surgical options for low back pain

In addition to physician presentations, the event will feature a variety of hands-on health activities and services. Participants can receive health screenings from physicians, take part in Hands-Only CPR training, and visit the SunCoast Bloodmobile to learn about blood donation opportunities. Sports fans can also connect with representatives providing information about the Bradenton Marauders and the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Community partners will be on site to share information about local health resources, including MCR HealthMaxHealthCoastal Orthopedics, and Manatee County Health and Human Services, along with over 50 other organizations dedicated to improving community wellness.

Attendees can also enjoy prizes and giveaways throughout the event while connecting with local healthcare professionals and learning about services available in the community.

Live Well Manatee is free and open to the public. Community members of all ages are encouraged to attend and take advantage of this opportunity to learn more about maintaining a healthy lifestyle and accessing local healthcare resources.
