Harry’s Continental Kitchens Announces 2nd Annual Sea to Table Wine Dinner

For more than 46 years, Harry’s Continental Kitchens has been bringing people together around the table. This June, the beloved Longboat Key restaurant invites guests to do that once again for a cause much bigger than dinner service.

On Friday, June 6, Harry’s Continental Kitchens will host its 2nd Annual Sea to Table Wine Dinner, presented by Jackson Family Wines and benefiting Pine Island Redfish and MANG Foundation, two organizations working to restore and protect Florida’s fragile coastal ecosystems through innovative aquaculture and mangrove restoration initiatives.

The evening begins with a welcome reception featuring sparkling wine, freshly shucked oysters, and passed hors d’oeuvres before guests settle in for a thoughtfully curated four-course dinner paired with wines from Jackson Family Wines.

But Sea to Table is about more than exceptional food and wine.

It’s about the future of Florida’s coastlines, waterways, fisheries, and food systems.

This year’s featured beneficiaries represent a unique and deeply connected approach to environmental stewardship.

Pine Island Redfish is pioneering sustainable seafood production through a land-based, recirculating aquaculture system that raises native redfish from egg to plate. In a remarkable full-circle model, nutrients from the operation are repurposed to cultivate mangroves used in coastal restoration projects throughout Florida.

Those mangroves are then planted and restored through the work of MANG Foundation, a Florida-based nonprofit that has planted more than 833,000 mangroves across Florida and beyond since its founding in 2015. Mangroves play a critical role in protecting shorelines, supporting marine life, improving water quality, and strengthening coastal resilience in the face of storms and environmental change.

Together, the partnership reflects the spirit of Sea to Table: supporting the ecosystems, communities, and industries that make life on the Gulf Coast possible.

“This dinner is about connection,” said Hal Christensen of Harry’s. “Connection to our waters, our fisheries, our environment, and to one another. We’re proud to bring people together for an evening that not only celebrates incredible food and wine, but directly supports these two organizations doing meaningful work for Florida’s future.”

Pine Island Redfish is on the menu for the event, highlighting the impact great seafood choices can have on the future of our coastal ecosystems.

With limited seating available, organizers encourage guests to reserve early.
