New Ownership & Fresh Culinary Concept at Lucky Frog Restaurant
Since taking over Lucky Frog Restaurant about six months ago, new owner Maria Medja has been bringing fresh energy, creativity, and a modern twist to the local dining scene in Bradenton.
Originally from Germany with a background in international marketing, Maria moved to Florida with her family to start a new chapter and reimagine the restaurant experience at Lucky Frog. While continuing to offer beloved German and European comfort food favorites, the restaurant has also introduced a unique and customizable bowl concept that is quickly becoming a guest favorite.
Customers can now build their own Schnitzel Bowls by choosing from different bases, toppings, sauces, and creative house-made dressings. One standout favorite is the restaurant’s signature Lingonberry Mayo — a sweet and savory Nordic-inspired sauce that guests often describe as something they have never tried before.
The goal behind the new concept is simple: combine traditional comfort food with modern, fun, and customizable dining experiences in a relaxed atmosphere. Lucky Frog is also expanding its focus on community events, themed nights, and local connections to create more than just a restaurant — but a place where people enjoy spending time together.
“We wanted to create something that feels familiar, but also fresh and different,” says owner Maria Medja. “People love comfort food, but they also enjoy being creative and personalizing their meals.”
Lucky Frog welcomes both longtime guests and new visitors to experience the updated menu and creative bowl combinations.
