Hope Family Services Announces Generous Gift from Bishop-Parker Foundation

HOPE Family Services (HOPE) is pleased to announce receipt of a very generous $40,000 grant from Bishop-Parker Foundation to support HOPE Family Services Children’s Counseling Program. This funding will help us increase our counseling services for adult and child survivors of domestic violence.

HOPE is Manatee County’s State-certified domestic violence service provider and operates a continuum of programs, including our Children’s Counseling Program.  HOPE’s Children’s Counseling Program (CCP) addresses the critical need for specialized support for both victims and their children, helping them to break the cycle of violence and develop healthier, safer family dynamics. Through this program, we aim to equip survivors and their children with the necessary tools to heal and thrive.

“We are deeply grateful to the Bishop-Parker Foundation for its commitment to supporting survivors and their children on their path to healing,” said Char Young, CEO of HOPE Family Services. “This funding will help ensure families affected by domestic violence will have access to the counseling and support services they need to rebuild their lives and move forward with hope.”

HOPE’s services are always free, confidential, and tailored to meet the individual needs of each family member. Services include individual, group, and family counseling, safety planning, parenting education, advocacy, and referrals to additional community resources.
