Embodied Health Celebrates Global Yoga Therapy Day and 2026 Bradenton’s Best Win with Free Community Open House
Embodied Health, an integrative yoga therapy and wellness studio located in Bradenton’s Village of the Arts, will host a free community Open House on Friday, August 14, from 5:00–8:00 p.m. in celebration of Global Yoga Therapy Day and the studio’s recent recognition as Bradenton’s Best Yoga Studio for 2026.
The event invites the Bradenton community to visit the studio, meet Embodied Health’s yoga teachers and massage therapists, experience complimentary chair massage, explore the studio’s services and learn more about the growing field of yoga therapy.
Unlike a traditional group yoga class, yoga therapy applies the tools of yoga—including movement, breath practices, meditation and other mind-body techniques—to support an individual’s specific needs and goals. Embodied Health specializes in a therapeutic, accessible approach to wellness designed to meet people where they are, including those navigating chronic pain, injury, stress, anxiety or other barriers to traditional wellness spaces.
“Global Yoga Therapy Day gives us an opportunity to help people understand that yoga can be much more than exercise,” said Denver Clark, C-IAYT, E-RYT 500, YACEP, founder of Embodied Health. “Yoga therapy is about meeting the individual in front of you and using these practices thoughtfully and appropriately. You don’t need to be flexible, experienced or fit a particular image of what a yoga student is supposed to look like to benefit.”
This year’s celebration holds additional meaning for the studio following its recognition as Bradenton’s Best Yoga Studio for 2026.
“We’re incredibly grateful for this recognition, especially because Embodied Health was created to offer something a little different,” Clark said. “We wanted a smaller, more personal space where yoga, massage therapy and integrative wellness could come together without losing sight of the individual. This Open House is our opportunity to celebrate the people who have supported that vision and welcome those who haven’t discovered us yet.”
Throughout the evening, visitors can tour the studio and treatment spaces, meet members of the Embodied Health team, enjoy complimentary chair massage and refreshments, and learn about yoga therapy, therapeutic yoga, massage therapy, Ayurveda, workshops, teacher training and other programs offered at the studio.
The Open House is free and open to the public, and no previous yoga experience is necessary. Guests are welcome to stop by at any time between 5:00 and 8:00 p.m.
