PAWS FOR THE CURE TO BRING COMMUNITY TOGETHER IN SARASOTA OCTOBER 17 TO BENEFIT THE AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY AND EIO RESCUE RANCH
Dog-friendly fundraiser will feature live music, adoptable animals, raffles, a Dog Fashion Show, and strong support from local businesses and community partners
People from across the Sarasota-Bradenton community are invited to Paws for the Cure, a special fundraising event benefiting the American Cancer Society and EIO Rescue Ranch. The event will take place on Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Dog Bar Sarasota, 1314 10th Street in Sarasota.
Admission is free for people. Dogs are $7 if they are not already covered by a Dog Bar membership or pass. Paws for the Cure is a dog-friendly event, not a general pet event, so guests should not bring pets other than dogs. Anyone planning to bring a dog should contact Dog Bar Sarasota in advance regarding vaccination and spay/neuter requirements.
The evening will feature live music by Nora Ricci, adoptable animals, raffle baskets, food and drinks, a Dog Fashion Show, and additional activities throughout the night. Net proceeds from the event will benefit the American Cancer Society and EIO Rescue Ranch.
Paws for the Cure is being organized by Sissy Ramos-Marsh and Jonathan Marsh, together with the Home Helpers Home Care of Bradenton team, as part of Jonathan Marsh’s 2026 American Cancer Society Men Wear Pink ambassadorship.
“Helping people has been at the center of what I do professionally for years, and animals have always held a special place in my heart as well,” said Sissy Ramos-Marsh. “Paws for the Cure brings those two passions together for one fun evening that helps both people and animals. We are excited to bring the community together for a cause that truly matters.”
