LAKEWOOD RANCH, Fla. GROVE presents A Dance With Death: A 50’s Murder Mystery Dinner on Friday, October 23, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. in the GROVE Ballroom.
Dust off your dancing shoes for a 50’s sock hop gone sour. This interactive murder mystery dinner invites guests to step into an evening filled with clues, suspects, twists, and plenty of laughs along the way.
When a death on the dance floor brings the party to a sudden halt, guests will help crack the case by following clues, questioning suspects, and putting their detective skills to the test to uncover whodunit before the night is over.
Guests are encouraged to dress for the sock hop with 50’s-inspired attire, including poodle skirts, swing dresses, saddle shoes, cat-eye glasses, scarves and pearls, cuffed jeans, white tees, bowling shirts, varsity jackets, and slicked-back hair. 50’s attire is encouraged, but not required.
Each ticket includes a three-course chef-curated dinner, one welcome cocktail, and the interactive murder mystery experience. A cash bar will also be available.
The welcome cocktail for the evening is The Alibi, made with vanilla vodka, white crème de cacao, cream, coffee liqueur, whipped cream, and a cherry.

Cilantro crème fraîche, Gruyère toast, and black pepper oil
Main Suspect
Steak “Diane”
Beef tenderloin medallions, mushroom Dijon cognac sauce, au gratin potato, and green bean almondine
Death By Chocolate
Dark Chocolate Mousse Torte
Raspberry coulis, chocolate crumble, and whipped mascarpone
No substitutions are available for this event.
The event begins at 7:00 p.m., with check-in starting at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $100 per person, plus tax and 20% service charge. Guests must be 21 or older to attend.
Seating will feature community tables of eight guests in the ballroom. Individual seats may be purchased, and groups purchasing together will be seated together. Ticket availability is subject to change, and more seats may be released based on demand.
