Lee Wetherington Homes bestowed 10 awards during 2026 Parade of Homes Gala
Lee Wetherington Homes, a top rated, privately owned custom luxury home builder in Sarasota, recently announced it received 10 awards among two of its model homes during the 2026 Parade of Homes Gala, an exclusive event honoring excellence in homebuilding, design and craftsmanship along Florida’s Suncoast for 60 years.

Held on Thursday, March 19, at The Ora, the gala included an evening of celebrating the achievements that have defined this year’s Parade of Homes. Attendees enjoyed a formal dinner, cocktails, curated hors d’oeuvres and awards presentation.
Lee Wetherington Homes’ Caravel model home received five awards in the Single Family Category 18, including best overall, best curb appeal, best kitchen, best master suite and best floor plan. The Caravel also received the Best Pool award for its model swimming pool from Coast to Coast Pools.
The Caravel model home, located in Everly at Wellen Park, boasts three bedrooms, four bathrooms, a three-car garage, den, bonus room, outdoor dining and a veranda, with 3,067 square feet of living area and a total square footage of 4,615.
The home builder’s Sand Dollar model home took home four awards in the Single Family Category 19, including best overall, best curb appeal, best master suite and best architectural detailing.
The Sand Dollar model home, located in Shellstone at Waterside in Lakewood Ranch, offers homeowners three bedrooms, four bathrooms, a bonus room and three-car garage, with 3,289 square feet of living area and a total square footage of 4,755. Shellstone at Waterside’s premier amenities include a spacious social hall, state-of-the-art fitness center, resort pool and spa, firepit, poolside cabanas, poolside grill and fitness lawn.
Presented by the Suncoast Builders Association, the 2026 Parade of Homes, started on March 7 and will run through March 29. The annual event features 130 model homes and 10 communities and developments throughout the region, offering potential homeowners or those simply looking to gather ideas a firsthand look at innovative floor plans and thoughtfully designed amenities.
