Lighting the Path: Celebrating the Future of Healthcare
State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) and its Foundation will host Lighting the Path, a healthcare-focused luncheon celebrating the impact of SCF’s Nursing and Health Sciences programs and the healthcare professionals who serve our community every day.
The event will bring together healthcare leaders, educators, community partners, donors, students, and supporters for an afternoon focused on service, innovation, and workforce development. Guests will have the opportunity to explore SCF’s Health Sciences Showcase featuring programs such as Nursing, Dental Hygiene, Occupational Therapy Assistant, Physical Therapist Assistant, and Radiography.
The program will include welcome remarks from SCF leadership, recognition of community healthcare champions through the Lantern Awards presented in partnership with Suncoast Credit Union, and a keynote presentation by internationally recognized speaker and leadership coach Jaime Marco.
SCF President Tommy Gregory will share reflections on the life-changing impact of healthcare professionals and the importance of preparing the next generation of caregivers through accessible, high-quality education.
The luncheon supports awareness of SCF’s healthcare education programs and the students preparing to serve hospitals, clinics, rehabilitation centers, schools, dental offices, and healthcare facilities throughout the region.
