Boutique Strength & Conditioning and Olympic Weightlifting Facility Opens in Bradenton
Longship Strength & Conditioning Celebrates Grand Opening
Today the City of Bradenton celebrates the newest member of its business community, Longship Strength & Conditioning (Longship), a boutique strength, conditioning and Olympic weightlifting facility, located at 511 10th Street East.
With a mission to build a resilient, capable and formidable community through functional and intentional science-based strength training in an empowering environment, instilling mental fortitude by conditioning athletes to conquer any challenge, in the weight room and in life, Longship’s founder and owner, Rebecka Guifoyle-Morells, has created a unique training space for the weightlifting community.
“I have set out to create a community-focused fitness environment that emphasizes physical and mental
developing through a “warrior” or Viking inspired lens,” said Guifoyle-Morells.
“Viking culture is a metaphor for what I am hoping to achieve with Longship Strength & Conditioning,
this facility will have a strong sense of community, mission, it will be a journey, we will build strength and endurance and help our members attain mental resiliency.”
“We are thrilled that Rebecka chose Bradenton as the home for her business,” said Bradenton Mayor,
Gene Brown. “We welcome her to the community, and we couldn’t be happier to be here today, celebrating the realization of her dream to build a serious weightlifting community here in Bradenton.”
Longship Strength & Conditioning occupies 1,500 sq. ft of space and employs 3 people at 5511 10th
