He has more than 18 years of experience advising families, entrepreneurs, and philanthropic leaders on investment management, estate planning, lending, and charitable giving. He helps families manage resources with purpose and carry their values across generations.

Ryan Denton is Senior Vice President and Alternative Investments Director at Morgan Stanley, where he chairs the Investment Committee for the Milestone Financial Group. A Manatee County native, he brings more than 20 years of experience in wealth planning and investment analysis. His community service has included leadership with the Manatee County Estate Planning Council, Sarasota Bay Watch, Take Stock in Children, and the Bradenton Yacht Club.

Joe E. Flores, CFP®, ChFC®, CEPA®, is a financial advisor with Edward Jones Investments. For more than three decades, he has worked with individuals, families, and business owners on retirement, succession, legacy planning, and charitable giving. His experience will add another thoughtful perspective to MCF’s stewardship and long-term planning.

“The best boards combine experience with curiosity as well as a clear sense of responsibility,” said Veronica Thames, Chief Executive Officer of MCF. “Anthony, Ryan, and Joe bring all those qualities to the table. They will bring care to MCF’s decisions as we grow alongside the community we serve, and I’m looking forward to working with them.”

MCF also extends its sincere thanks to outgoing board members Steve Roskamp, Jenifer Schembri, and Buzz Turner, whose contributions have left MCF stronger and well prepared for the work ahead. Roskamp served as Board Secretary, Schembri shared nearly seven years of knowledge in charitable and estate planning, and Turner led MCF through an important transition period as Board Chair.

As MCF looks ahead, the Board will guide its commitment to grow togetherbuild on legacy, and lift community through strategic philanthropy.
