Parrish Schools Expand to Keep Pace with Growth

Growth in Parrish is putting pressure on local schools — and the district is responding. Parrish Community High School is completing a 25,000-square-foot addition that will bring 16 new classrooms online, with students expected to move in after spring break. Nearby, a new middle school is under construction within the North River Ranch community.

Higher education is expanding too: State College of Florida is developing a new campus along Erie Road in Parrish, with plans for general education courses alongside signature programs such as nursing.
