Parrish Town Center Moves Forward with Grocery-Anchored Shopping Plaza

A major new commercial development is taking shape at the southeast corner of U.S. 301 and State Road 62 in Parrish. Manatee County Development Services has assigned a case manager to the Parrish Town Center project, signaling the plan is officially advancing through county review.

The site spans nearly 48 acres and will include up to 174,000 square feet of commercial space across 13 planned buildings. Four leases are already pending, including a roughly 48,000-square-foot grocery store that will anchor the plaza, flanked by two large retail tenants. Rounding out the plans are a bank, retail shops, two auto stores, a dental office, a quick-service restaurant, a coffee shop, and a gas station with convenience store. None of the specific retailers or restaurants have been publicly announced yet.

Access will come from U.S. 301, with a road expansion planned alongside the entrance to the neighboring Crosswind Point community. A stormwater retention pond will buffer the plaza from nearby homes.
