Pink and Main’s Boutique and classroom launch in time for holidays

Palmetto’s new store is open Tuesday-Saturday offering papercraft supplies.

Pink and Main recently opened its Boutique doors with grand opening festivities and a ribbon-cutting ceremony by the Manatee Chamber of Commerce.

Crowds were welcomed with prizes, complimentary make-and-take projects held throughout the two-day opening in a new classroom setting, goody bags and a chance to shop aisles of Pink and Main’s papercraft products surrounded with an impressive tropical mural by local artist Foxxy Fine Art.

Opening in time for holiday shopping, card-making fans and those interested in the craft can now stop by the Boutique and choose from a wide variety of Pink and Main’s stamps, dies, foils, stencils and card kits, blender brushes, embossing folders and more. The Boutique also offers items from adult coloring books, beads, journals, and sticker books to scrapbooking supplies.

Founder, owner and creative director Michelle Currie is proud of Pink and Main’s newest expansion. “We’ve been in business since 2014 and for the last four years we’ve operated out of a warehouse in Palmetto where our online sales continue to surge worldwide.

“While we’ve had a tiny storefront tucked in our warehouse and customers stopping by over the years to shop and occasionally take classes, there hasn’t been enough room to accommodate the on-site demand.

“Now, we’ve expanded our operations,” said Currie. “It’s an exciting new era for papercraft artists and enthusiasts as they now have a large store to browse and shop in with ample space to attend classes and hone their skills or learn the craft from the ground up. We will also rent out the classroom space to those interested in holding and teaching classes here.”

The new Boutique is now open Tuesday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 2050 14th Avenue E., Suite 102, Palmetto, Florida. In observance of these federal holidays, Pink and Main is closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day and Labor Day.
