Smile by Design and Implants Introduces New Doctor to the Team.
Smile by Design and Implants is happy to introduce Dr. Ian Davis. He is a second-generation dentist who grew up in Atlanta, Georgia. He attended the University of Georgia before earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Dental College of Georgia. Following dental school, he completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the University of Florida, a program focused on comprehensive care and the use of advanced dental technologies.
Dr. Davis values building meaningful relationships with his patients and believes in taking the time to thoroughly examine and guide them in making informed decisions that best support their individual needs. A dedicated lifelong learner, he has pursued extensive advanced training in esthetic dentistry, TMD, bite alignment, and airway-focused dentistry at the Pankey Institute, Spear Education Center, and Dawson Academy.
Outside of the office, Dr. Davis enjoys playing basketball and tennis, biking, and spending time outdoors – especially watching sunsets at the beach or in the park.
Dr. Ian will work alongside Michael J. O’Neil DDS MAGD a West Bradenton native who attended Manatee High School and complete his undergraduate at the University of Florida receiving his BS in Microbiology and Cell Science. He completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the prestigious New York University College of Dentistry. After dental school, Dr. Mike continued his dental training by completing an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the University of California, Los Angeles. Fewer than 2% of general dentists achieve Mastership (MAGD). Dr. Mike holds this award as a symbol of his dedication to comprehensive care.
Dr. Mike’s goal is to provide patients with the latest evidence-based dental treatment in a warm caring environment. Comprehensive dentistry involves multidisciplinary approach in today’s overall health care arena. It is important for patients to find a highly qualified and knowledgeable provider to help navigate their journey to better oral and general health.
