Going “Out” to Eat Takes on a Whole New Meaning with STREET FOOD

by: Kelly Stilwell

The popularity of food trucks has risen quite a bit over the last five years or so. Visit places like World Food Trucks in Central Florida or Celebration Park in Naples and you’ll find a street food experience with year-round permanent food trucks.

Though it’s not as new of a concept as you may think (there were food trucks in Los Angeles in the 1970s), the industry has grown to $2.7 billion according to an article in Food Truck Operator.

We may not have a food truck park in Bradenton (yet!) but you can visit many of the below trucks at events around town. Most food trucks have a rotating schedule so you’ll have to check out each one on Facebook to see where and when you can chow down.
