STUFF THE BUS” COMMUNITY-WIDE FOOD DRIVE EVENT TAKING PLACE THIS SUNDAY, OCTOBER 11, 2026, TO BENEFIT THE FOOD BANK OF MANATEE
The Stuff the Bus event benefiting The Food Bank of Manatee, a PLUS program of Meals on Wheels PLUS of Manatee, will take place at 19 participating Publix stores throughout Manatee County this Sunday. United Way Suncoast, participating Manatee County Publix locations, and The School District of Manatee County are joining forces for the annual Stuff the Bus food drive, presented by Mosaic, on Sunday, October 11, 2026, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
Customers are invited to help fight hunger by donating non-perishable food items or making monetary contributions at Stuff the Bus collection sites. All donations benefit The Food Bank of Manatee, a PLUS program of Meals on Wheels PLUS of Manatee and the only food bank based in Manatee County. As the community’s largest hunger-relief organization, The Food Bank relies entirely on community support, and all donations stay local to help feed individuals and families in need throughout Manatee County.

- SHOP: Sunday, October 11, 2026, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm at participating Manatee County Publix store locations; Look for the School District of Manatee School Bus in the parking lot and “Stuff the Bus” with your non-perishable food item donations.

Photo Opportunity: All buses will leave the participating Manatee County Publix locations at approximately 3 pm on Sunday, October 11, 2026, and will return to The Food Bank of Manatee located at 811 23rd Ave. East to be unloaded by community volunteers.
