North River Community Market Celebrates Successful Grand Opening with Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Palmetto Mayor Dan West joined Palmetto Marriott General Manager Greg Ciaccio to cut the ribbon and officially open the market. Their participation, alongside community leaders, vendors, and families, marked the start of a new tradition for the North River area.

Adding to the excitement, Marty from the Bradenton Marauders greeted guests and
joined in on the celebration. Guests also had the chance to win exciting giveaways
throughout the day, including tickets to upcoming Marauders games.

Entertainment kept the energy high with live music from Dirt Cheap Spirits and a
special dance performance from Manatee School for the Arts (MSA), making the
grand opening a vibrant celebration for all ages.

“The response from the community has been incredible,” said Lisa Comeau of Novan Group, event organizer. “Seeing families, friends, and neighbors come together to support local businesses at The Yard at the Palmetto Marriott Resort and Spa truly brings our vision for this market to life.”

The North River Community Market will return on Sunday, October 12, once again
hosted at The Yard at the Palmetto Marriott Resort and Spa. Guests can look forward to an even bigger selection of vendors, live entertainment, and family-friendly fun.
