Community Blood Drive Event Encourages Local Involvement and Life-Saving Donations
SunCoast Blood Centers invites the public to take part in a special community blood drive event on Saturday, August 2nd, from 2 PM to 8 PM at 8138 Lakewood Main St., Bradenton, FL 34202.
This family-friendly event will combine fun, community spirit, and a vital mission – helping ensure a safe and reliable blood supply for local hospitals. All eligible donors are encouraged to participate and make a life-saving impact.
Donor Perks Include:
- New donors receive a $30 e-gift card
- Returning donors can earn up to $60 in e-gift cards
- All donors will receive a limited-edition long-sleeved event T-shirt (while supplies last)
The event will feature:
- Local vendors and raffle prizes

- A special appearance by the Bayflite rescue helicopter team.
