Tundra

Some pets require a little more time than others to find their forever home. Tundra, a 2-year-old mixed breed who came to Manatee County Animal Services as a stray, finally found a family after a year and half at the shelter. Tundra absolutely loves her new parents! Before adopting her, they visited with her over a dozen times to get to know her. Obviously, their affection for each other is very mutual. Now, after waiting so long at the shelter, Tundra has a loving home of her own.

Lil’Bear

Lil’ Bear, a 4 year-old mixed breed, came to MCAS 2 years ago as a stray. He is a big, goofy dog, who has sadly spent half of his life in a shelter. This boy loves to play, especially with toys. He is full of energy and entertainment when outside. He loves to roll in the grass and run in circles. He adores belly rubs too, of course. Lil’ Bear is learning to socialize with other dogs and will need slow introductions if he is to live with them. Volunteers take Lil’ Bear home for sleepovers, and they report he is a perfect houseguest. He’s so happy to be in a home. This sweet dog deserves a home of his own. Wouldn’t you like to have the love of Lil’ Bear in your life?

Lil’ Bear will do best in a household without children or cats. He comes neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. For information, email [email protected] or schedule your appointment at mymanatee.org/pets.
