In addition to offering an unparalleled residential experience in the heart of downtown Sarasota, the Mira Mar Residences will preserve parts of the historic Mira Mar apartments and pay homage to the former hotel and auditorium that was constructed in the early 1920s.
Earlier this year, Sarasota City Commissioners gave unanimous approval to Seaward Development, the development firm behind Mira Mar Residences, to rehabilitate and restore the historic portion of the existing Mira Mar property that occupies nearly 400 feet on Palm Avenue. The rehabilitation will add retail, restaurant and office space that will sit in front of the two 18-story residential buildings.
Historic rehabilitation on the existing buildings is expected to start in December 2025, with the residential towers expected to be completed by the end of 2028.
The sales team is taking reservations now and is available for appointments on site. For more information or to learn about Mira Mar Residences, visit miramarsarasota.com.
