The Saltwater Social Takes Place on Longboat This Friday: A Coastal-Chic Preseason Party Celebrating Flavor, Community, and Conservation

This Friday, November 21, at 6:00 pm, Harry’s Continental Kitchens is kicking off the holiday season with one of the Suncoast’s most anticipated feel-good events: The Saltwater Social, an evening that blends Gulf Coast flavor, live music, local art, and coastal conservation, all wrapped into one high-vibe, high-value community celebration.

Taking place this preseason, The Saltwater Social offers the perfect chance to gather with friends before the holiday rush and enjoy an elevated yet laid-back night out. Guests will enjoy 20+ curated wine tastingsCalusa Brewing craft beer samplings, handcrafted cocktails, chef-driven small plates, and of course, fresh coastal fare and oysters crafted by the award-winning culinary team at Harry’s Continental Kitchens.

A Celebration with Purpose
A portion of event proceeds will support Oyster Boys Conservation, a fast-growing nonprofit founded in 2022 by Suncoast brothers Dom and Vince Marino. What began as a small passion project has become a powerful local movement improving water quality through nature-based solutions, hands-on restoration, education, and community engagement. Supporting them means supporting cleaner bays, healthier shorelines, and a thriving Gulf Coast for generations to come.

Gulf Coast Vibes + Pre-Holiday Shopping
This year’s event features a vibrant pop-up art gallery and boutique experience with renowned Sarasota artist Lipstick Lex (Alexis Fraser). Known internationally for her signature lipstick-kiss paintings and her joyful, uplifting acrylic and oil works, Lex brings her mobile gallery — stocked with originals, prints, gifts, and colorful surprises perfect for pre-holiday shopping. It’s a chance to shop small, support a local mom and creative entrepreneur, and discover uniquely heartfelt pieces.

Live Music to Set the Mood
Bringing soul and sparkle to the evening is singer-songwriter Charlie Thorpe, whose acoustic performance adds an unforgettable soundtrack to the coastal atmosphere. Her solo project, Charlz, has garnered global radio play and more than 24 million Spotify streams, with performance credits alongside Justin Bieber, Tame Impala, and The Kooks. Her warm, soulful sound sets the tone for an evening that’s equal parts relaxed and electric.

A Can’t-Miss Night on the Suncoast
With incredible culinary offerings, world-class wine and beer tastings, live art and music, and a mission that directly benefits our waterways, The Saltwater Social delivers one of the best party-for-a-purpose experiences of the season.

This event takes place on Friday, November 21, 2025, from 6-9 pm at Harry’s Continental Kitchens, 525 Saint Judes Drive, Longboat Key, FL 34228.

Tickets are $99 and include food, drinks, and entertainment. Find tickets and more information at https://harryskitchen.com/events/ or on the restaurant’s Resy page.
