Travis Windham appointed to The Salvation Army of Manatee County advisory board
Halfacre Construction Company, a Lakewood Ranch-based commercial construction company, recently announced Travis Windham, project manager, was appointed as a board member to The Salvation Army of Manatee County advisory board.
Windham will serve on the 11-member board for the 2026-27 term. During his time with the nonprofit, he will support the local leadership team while applying his skills to think strategically about the future and expand the organization’s impact.
“The Salvation Army is a premier nonprofit and one of the most well-run and impactful organizations in the world,” said Windham. “I have seen firsthand the positive impact they have here locally and the critical needs they address every day. I am honored to play even a small role in supporting their mission and to work alongside their dedicated and inspiring team.”
Windham, a fifth-generation native of Manatee County, originally joined Halfacre Construction Company in 2021 as a superintendent intern. Upon completion of his four-month internship, Windham returned to the University of North Florida (UNF) to finish his bachelor’s degree in building construction with a minor in business. During his time at UNF, Windham was among the top of his graduating class and received the President’s Honor Roll Award.
Following graduation from UNF in June 2022, Halfacre offered him a full-time role as an assistant project manager. In 2024, Windham was promoted to project manager.

In addition to his bachelor’s degree, Windham holds his Certified Building Contractor (CBC) license in the State of Florida.
